Nuke Freelancers
Glassworks Amsterdam are searching for talented Nuke compositors to work alongside the Flame artists on a broad range of projects. We are looking for confident artists skilled in all aspects of compositing from basic roto, tracking and keying, through to the completion and delivery of perfectly composited shots. You will need to show on your reel examples of photo-realistic, invisible vfx, as well as creative problem solving.

Flame Compositor (short-term contract)
Glassworks Amsterdam are looking for an outstanding Flame compositor to join our dynamic team. We are looking for staff cover for the next 6 months, possibly longer. Proven creative flair is essential as you will be required to pitch and quote on new ideas, and you will need the energy and enthusiasm to work on challenging projects within demanding deadlines. You will work alongside our award-winning cgi artists, and will be assisted by our dedicated production team, on technically challenging and artistically rewarding work.

2D and 3D Interns
Glassworks Amsterdam is interested in developing emerging creative talent, and so we offer 2d and 3d internships. Although flexible, internships ideally last for 6 months, allowing your existing skills to be developed and eventually tested in actual productions.
We primarily use Autodesk packages; XSI for our cgi work, and Flame, Flint and Smoke for compositing. A solid understanding of the fundamental priciples of each discipline are required, and whilst applicants' skill levels may vary, enthuisiasm for the industry and a keen desire to learn are essential.
Internships are voluntary (with basic costs covered), however advancement to junior roles is possible for outstanding trainees.
The next available internship in our 2D department will start in October 2011 and in our 3D department January 2012.

Senior XSI TDs
Senior, experienced TDs required in the London branch to work on commercials.
We are looking for proven experience and skill in the lighting, rendering, shading side of things. Photorealism is the main thrust of what will be required. A technical mind and a generalist's background would be an advantage as would experience in dealing with clients, shoots, lenses, live-action integration, problem solving etc. We have recently started using Arnold so any experience in that would be attractive.
