Glassworks Amsterdam's platform for young artists, Artworks, continues to take on a life of its own with our latest exhibitiion launch for the Dutch photographers Stijn & Marie. Their exhibition, entitled 'Meeting Shirley', gathers together their entire series of intriguing portraits of American stylist Shirley Kurata, taken over a five year period. They met on the set of a shoot for the New York Times in California and were immediately captivated by her unique look (and impressively eclectic wardrobe), and she became their muse for their 'never ending photo series'. This outstanding collection of work will continue to brighten up our offices until the end of September.

A warm summer evening saw over 200 art lovers from the world of advertising, fine art, fashion, new media and film to help us launch the two-month exhibition in style. All the essential elements were there: the barbecue sizzled, the wine flowed, the DJs played ... and the neighbours complained. Thank you everyone for celebrating art with us, and we look forward to the next installment.
