Artworks 'Ruthy Goes to Church'
On the sunny evening of 14th June, Glassworks Amsterdam hosted our 12th Artworks preview evening featuring the photography exhibition 'Ruthy Goes to Church' by Julia Gunther and Odette Denijs. The documentary style of the collection, a distinctly personal series of images gathered from the artist's time in South Africa, really set the scene for a gezellig summmer evening with our discerning Artworks guests.
We would like to thank our event sponsorship partner Jameson Whiskey for the delicious summer cocktails, which certainly kept the crowds happy, and a huge round of applause to DJ's Aiscream and the talented Adamski from Massive Talent in transforming our garden into a pumping dance floor (where the magical results of the Jamesons cocktails were truly witnessed)!
Special thanks this time also to Xavi, our very own Head of technology at Glassworks Barcelona, for designing and creating the interactive photobooth, which ensured the evening was well documented. Upon refelction, perhaps this is not always a good thing ... the results can be seen on our Facebook page. Lastly thanks again to Kaiser Sound Studios & Massive Talent - we salute you for providing the sound, and arranging the amazing after party at Ludwig.
Thanks to all who came and made it another fantastic party to remember. We look forward to seeing you at the next party!
